I wanted to read Situational Awareness on my Kindle so I worked with ChatGPT and generated an epub file you can download.

To send it to your Kindle you email it to your device. You can find the email address on this page by clicking on your Kindle.

I found this blog post with a similar mobi file but the Amazon kindle service rejected it when I tried to use it, aparently because Amazon has dropped support for mobi.

When I sent the PDF to my Kindle, the typeface was too small. But with the epub file the text flows according to the typeface you choose.

I had ChatGPT generate a cover image which is included in the download. Me and ChatGPT had to iterate a few times to get rid of some bugs, ChatGPT helpfully suggested Kindle Previewer software which allowed access to more detailed logs, and a faster iteration cycle than sending the epub file to the Kindle and waiting.

Interestingly, at the beginning ChatGPT and Codex would write me a python script to scrape the Situation Awareness HTML site, but not run it, it simply gave me the python command and asked me to do it. After about 4-5 iterations though for some reason Codex just gave up on copyright and started running the script itself! XD
